Federated Service Using nettcp Binding

I was wondering if it is possible to use a federated service using a nettcp binding?
I saw this blog post http://weblogs.asp.net/cibrax/archive/2008/04/21/federation-over-tcp-with-wcf.aspx and was wondering if this would help "solve" this issue?

Also... thanks for all the great help. The whitepapers, blog posts, and books... they are all GREAT!

Yes, you can use a custom binding to acheive federated security over TCP. The standard bindings like WS2007FederationHttpBinding are just a prepackaging of binding features to simplify configuration, while with custom bindings you can had pick your transport protocol, message encoder, and other binding elements appropriate for the communication.
